I also have a spare Autoform safety roll bar for a Gen II GTS sitting in my garage wink If you want to go for the race car look smile
Cheers fatboy I can see your gonna get me into trouble lol, I had disregarded a viper as I had a C2 corvette I had set in my heart but I went to see it sunday and well it wasn't as good as I had in my head (seen it at shows and won best in its class many times) but out of the show field you look at it differently and I was disappointed, then I saw this last night and the price was good so got me back thinking about a viper, doubt it will hang around at this price so will try and view one day this week if work allows.

Well I have just spoken to the seller and indeed it is Mark Jacksons car and should be well known in the Viper circle according to the seller ?, only being sold as he has bought a Ferrari for £200k and as he has a lot of cars he has decided to sell this one, so I am going to try and look at it tomorrow or Friday.

Thanks guys well it looks like it's an honest car and good money, not really Into red cars and wish it was a different colour (no disrespect to fatboy) that said I do like fatboys as with the race stickers I would have it in red but couldn't copy so will need to come up with a solution if I decide I like it. Time will tell.

If you don't like the colour, Vinyl wrap would be the way to go wink
Red is definatly the right colour for the race car look and is by far my favourite, Dam fatboy I can see you costing me a lot of money lol, this is supposed to be a car to get in and use so I have time to do my corvette up lol, can see it getting a little derailed looking at these lol

Well I have just been and seen the car, drives ok, sounds the nuts very loud, it is very tired though, she's been used !!! Sills need painting front spoiler needs painting, whole car needs moping as it looks like a scourer has been used, head lights have gone all funny, it has nitrous and a line lock lol ! There was a knocking coming from the front sounds like a roll bar bush, does have some potential but may off being mint, but it would be the cheapest GTS in the country, fatboy can you email me your number again please as its not on my phone :-) cheers
Ps it has a 450bhp plaque on the back and 480ft lb
But apparently is over 500bhp

Well I may go back with someone familiar with vipers to give me feed back as I can get it for quite a bit less than advertised which would allow me to sort the paint out if all else appears good, only time will tell.

I'm struggling to make a decision between this and the C2 corvette, friends and family saying the viper is in need of too much and could be risky, didn't sleep at all last night, going to spend the next couple of days mulling it over as I'm really struggling to make a decision, didn't really want a project as I have my C3 waiting to be done which is why I wanted the C2 to just get in and go, but the viper want runs deep, only time will tell biggrin

Just to be devils advocate it doesn't sound like either is the right car for you? Do you still have the Challenger?
?? Yes I still have the challenger as my daily, so why aren't either the car for me ? I would love it if you can make sense of it all as it's driving me up the wall lol

Well I think you said it yourself, you have other projects to work on wink

Personally I think if you got the viper you would want to spend time doing this and that and other projects would again be put on the back burner.

I dont think its about the car, its about where you are placed at this moment in time.

The current owner clearly wants to sell fast and someone is going to get a hell of a lot of car for the money, If I had the cash I would add it to my stable.
Yes your quite right buddy, I had put the thought of a viper on the back burner at the moment and was just going to get the C2 as a finished car I can just enjoy while getting other things ticked off the list, it's just typically bad timing that a viper comes up at this kind of money that has really made me stop and think, I'm still not decided and going to give it a week to mull over and if it's gone then it wasn't meant to be.

You could also think of the car's this way, now it depends on your driving skills and how fast you like to drive

A C2 Corvette, well lets be honest, great as a Show car and a pose down the shops, would you want to put your foot down in it and push it round corners or do charity track events? Doubtful. Wife will probably like it.

Viper a super fast great handling, easy to work on Supercar on and off track. (As long as you respect the rubber between you and the road) wink A great European Touring car in top gear, then drop it into 3rd for Grin factor whistle Wife will hit you and tell you to slow down.

One is old tech, the other New tech.
I like to drive lol ask my bro, he used to get somewhat frustrated that in his carrera 4 he would struggle to get close enough to take me in my 75 corvette when we were doing runs through Bracknell Industrial estate with lots of roundabouts and short straights, best driven sideways :-) I gzve come down with man flu today so feeling pretty rough which has put a halt on returning on Saturday for another look, so in a weeks time if it's still there I will be returning for a second look.
