your plate looks huge, it must deflect a lot of air away from the engine

looks like you have used the rubber 'clothes pegs'
Yeh, it's the rubber pegs I got from JonB at PartsRack.

Must admit I was disappointed, as they were ordered specifically for a gen 3/4, but the hood latch prevents them from being closer together and fitting a smaller plate.

Did you cut yours down, or is it possible to move the hood latch? One of the jobs on my 'to-do' list is to fit a smaller plate, although I much prefer the number plate delete option

Thanks for the info, I'll have a go at cutting them down and fitting them on the inside of the latch.

Painting white is also a good plan

Any one else got any pics of their Vipers wearing neat front plates?

I spent a couple of evenings modifying the right hand side 'clothes peg' attacking it with a hacksaw, and a dremel attachment to smooth the saw marks, then painted them both white. I used a piece of perspex (countersunk screwed) to make it all rigid, before using sticky tabs to attach the number plate.

It's quickly removable still, and much smaller and neater - so thanks for the advice above.
