Well, it pissed it down all night and day. But as I'd already driven 200 miles south (stayed dry on the way down) and had a hotel booked...I had to go! The event was well organised and plenty of things going on, the pick up truck races were awesome. But the nascar races were cancelled due to the increasingly bad weather. Plenty of Corvettes, Mustangs and Chevys to be seen...1 viper *cough*...

I'm not trying to sound bias, but the Viper really does get so much attention. All the kids know exactly what it is and get the parents to take photos, guys wanna see the engine and the girls like the colour!

But I digress...

It was nice to see the Mad Max cars there, a fantastic Interceptor stood out. Along with the New Corvette which I admit, looked fantastic. And, in this small world the guy who sold me my Ford Lightning should come parking up next to me! He rolled up in an Auburn, but with a different engine, non supercharged...still cost him £80k apparently!

Spoke with Aid, he had to stay home as he was just about to go away to France? I think? I don't blame anyone for not turning up...had I not had a hotel booked, I wouldn't have made the trip either...too far for one show...and too wet lol.
