2 inch body lift for Chimaera
Discussion
Hi folks,
thinking to slightly (2 inches) lift the body of my Chim to do some refurbishing on the outriggers and chassis. I know it has been done.
What does this involve? Does the engine have to come out? What else has to come out or has to be disconnected? How is it best done? Any special aspects to be considered?
Would be great if somebody could share their experiences about this.
Thanks and cheers,
R.

Did mine last year, engine stays in.
from memory fuel tank out to get at rear body bolts, all other body bolts out (obviously)two on centre console are a bit aukward, seat belts out, seats don't need to come out but do make things easier, steering uj disconnected.
Don't think there's much else, possibly disconnect handbrake cable so lever will pull up almost vertical?
