Picked beastie up this morning from Sportmotive, stayed in Manchester last night and got the train up to Stoke arrived just after 0900.... Then drove 180 odd miles home smile (roof off obviously)

Ian picked me up from the station and this was my first look at beastie smile

Absolutely stunning, the guys have done a brilliant job biggrin the front indicators and side repeaters were also changed from orange to clear, which sets it off smile

Here's some more piccies... (bug splattered after the drive home)

In addition to the headlight conversion I also had a front end respray... and a 12k service.. guys at Sportmotive were brilliant smile

Have to say, the Mk3 stylee faired in lights are awesome, car looks the tits biggrin

Hi guys, thanks for the positive comments smile

Yep colour is Highland Pearl, grey in the winter but when the sunlight hits it it sparkles with blues reds greens and God knows what else smile With regard to protective coating, definitely considering this, but next job is get new tyres for the 16" front Estorils that are still standing in as a coffee table in my lounge and fit the 300mm rotors and calipers that are currently residing in the spare room smile

Cheers all..

Thanks guys, the thread has been resurrected, conversion was done early 2013.. was £900, same (I believe) as the Mk3 units but with VAG (Golf) headlamp units... Really pleased I did it, so much nicer in my opinion than the earlier units.....
