Evening all
I know this has been done quite a few times but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I've tried contacting Keri but (as I've read quite a few times before) he isn't the easiest chap to get hold of.
Can anyone confirm the thread sizes for the braided hoses he also supplies with the kit ? I'm sure I've read that the hoses are sourced in the USA and so are imperial rather than metric ?
(I'm also presuming that the threads are the same sizes at either ends of the hoses)

I also have WMS front brake kit fitted and the 1/8" NPT is correct, as far as the other end goes I think Keri supplies the correct unions to couple up to 3/16" standard copper (M10 ?) fittings.
Ah...thats the bit I'm interested in. Is it M10 or 3/8 ? I'm in the middle of making up new copper lines and don't know what ends to put on before I make the final flare. If anyone could confirm that would be great. I'll keep chasing Keri as well.
Thanks guys

Sorry for being slow - burried under a VAT return at the moment while waiting for more stock to arrive!
The lines are indeed 1/8npt at the caliper, but are M10x1 at the chassis as that's what I have for the Chim. That said, if you wind up with imperial chassis fittings I can spec lines to suit I expect.
Fantastic ! Thanks guys, appreciate it.The lines are indeed 1/8npt at the caliper, but are M10x1 at the chassis as that's what I have for the Chim. That said, if you wind up with imperial chassis fittings I can spec lines to suit I expect.
Keri, I sent you an email earlier in the week with some other questions. I'll send it again now in case you didn't get it the first time round.
Thanks again
Morning all
Sorry to bring up an older topic. Has anyone who is running the WMS brakes had problems in getting the union to seal with the caliper ? Not the actual braided line but just the union.
I started off as finger tight as advised and its pg out I've definitely got the tapered end into the caliper and it isn't cross threaded. I really can't figure it out. Tried screwing it in a little more but don't want to go too far and it gets slightly better, but is certainly still leaking.
I've emailed Keri but being a bank holiday weekend I appreciate if he is busy. Just wondered if anyone else had had the same problem ? How far should I be screwing the union into the caliper ?

I've had my WMS brakes since last year. Finger tight won't be enough. You have to use a spanner and it needs to be tight, just enough. Don't over tighten its aluminium calliper.
Mine doesn't go in all the way into the calliper, but it's tight and doesn't leak.
I've had my WMS front brakes fitted for nearly 18 months and initially tightened all fittings with a spanner and have never had any leaks, in this time I've removed & refitted to do some winter chassis maintenance and still had no problems.Mine doesn't go in all the way into the calliper, but it's tight and doesn't leak.
Guess I'll have to give them more of a tighten. Hope I don't go too far...
Thanks again
