Bedford track day, 6th of May.
Discussion
We've been given a heads up by Andy, (fatboychim) of the above event.
This is the GT circuit, the longest on offer at Bedford.

This is one of the safest circuits around with plenty of run off areas.
If you fancy putting your tiv through its paces and have never done a TD before, this is the ideal opportunity.
Book up, come on down and the regulars will give you any hints, tips or help that you need.
Phone to book, mention TVRs and fatboys name, Andy Holder and if there's 5+, (which there should be) we get 10% discount, that's only £143.00 for a whole day of open pitlane, almost free!
Who's up for it?

I think this was it?

Confirmation guys?
26 miles from track.
Probably a nearer one but this was perfect, good rooms and a comfy bar.

Ok got my sober sensible head on now.
Does anybody know if Roseytvr has signed up for this as today will most likely be the last chance of speaking to MSVT before Tuesday, if he is definitely in I'll ring them and we can all have our 10% off and relax.
Anybody else after that can just add on as required, hopefully we can take a good selection of cars
Post from Ian Rose, (RoseyTVR) said he has defo booked, can't be on the tiv list possibility.Does anybody know if Roseytvr has signed up for this as today will most likely be the last chance of speaking to MSVT before Tuesday, if he is definitely in I'll ring them and we can all have our 10% off and relax.

There were a couple of GoPros so maybe......
Another cracking day, the weather stayed fine and apart from a couple of TVR problems, ahem, the day went really well.
My 55 didn't miss a beat and the new Nitrons seemed to perform faultlessly. More importantly, the increased size baffled sump allowed a healthy oil pressure to be maintained during the max G bends.
The only downside was, (and that is if it is a downside!) my oil temperature rose on the pm laps when it was warmer to a max of 118 degrees.
I need to investigate?
I gave a few rides to Trev, Matt, Ian and Alex which was fun and I hope that that has opened their eyes to what good tyres and suspension set up can achieve.
The white GT3 was something else wasn't it? We were evenly matched for performance but those millions spent in R&D really pay off in the handling department, it was a joy to follow and wonder how if clung to the track
I'm glad you got back ok Trev, thoughts of your "hand throttle" made me smile on the journey back!
We'll arrange another one soon. Maybe there are some who haven't tried a TD and would like to try a novice day, we did one a couple of years ago and it worked well.
