Presume you have tried locking and unlocking it, to reset the immobiliser? If I had seen your post earlier I would have popped in to help - ieft Cambridge at 6.15.
Do you have a flat battery? Do the headlights work?
Do you have a multimeter?
You can possibly get the fuses from Discount Autoparts, junction of East Road and Newmarket Road
Give me a call if you fancy a diagnostic chat. 07736 774325

As an addition to this thread my 80 and 100 amp fuses blew within a month of each other. I don't think the failures were related but provided they had not been replaced previously to my ownership then both had covered 14 years and 50,000 miles. If your 100 amp has not been replaced previously I would suggest you buy a replacement one just in case they have an similar age to failure.
The easiest fix with both the 80 and 100 amp fuse as a temporary measure is, has been said before, just connect the two cables together. Ok this is removing fuse protection but the reasons for them being there in the first place is unclear. I don't think any massed produced cars have similar arrangements. You can always put the fuse link back at a later stage.
