Without starting the big, big debate on what's best I would like to know what alternatives there are to the usual suspects.

I'm looking for a set that can be used for road and with a leaning to good handling on track.

They will run Eibach springs, have adjustable spring seats and be at least one way adjustable for damping.

We know about GAZ and Nitron but is there a tried and tested sensibly priced alternative?

Have you considered the Gaz TA because they are infinitely adjustable in comparison to the various Monotube offerings and give independent bump and rebound adjustment.
Tell me more please ears

They are priced a little less then Monos.

Are you saying that these are quite suitable for track days/ road use?

Are they better then the Monos in that respect?
