How to deal with paint scratches?

Just had a lovely weekend with a lady.

BUT she didnt start the weekend off too well by placing her luggage bag on the bonnet of my freshly painted Chim leaving a rather disitinctive but maybe minor scratch.

Would it be best to take to a proffessional to sort out or is it something i could have a go at buffing and polishing out maybe?

besides i got a lot more than that over the weekend

I think i will invest in some Meguires products and practice on the daily before going near my bonnet.

I tried a pic yesterday but couldnt see the screen on my phone in the sunlight. ie the pic showed nothing much at all.
Will try get the light right after work tonight and get a clearer pic.

Also been recommended G3... any thoughts?
