steering/front brake wobble - again
Discussion
Gaah.... a week or so before coming back to work started to get the old front wheel wobble at about 70mph and (slightly) above.... need balancing then, maybe thrown a weight.... then a few days later started getting the wobble when braking... not as bad as the previous occasion (last November - ruined a track day), but definitely there..... Didn't have time before returning to work to do any investigation, so don't know what's causing it, wheel wobble and brake wobble, I only had brake wobble (badly under heavy braking from 100mph+ - on track obviously) before, which was completely cured with skimming...
And the brake wobble this time seemed intermittent... not enough time to diagnose properly
If it's the discs again I'll go spare.....
Spent best part of a grand on front brake upgrade, beginning to think maybe I should've spent the best part of two grand.... but not jumping to conclusions yet...
At least the Gaz Mono's work perfectly..... bugger, feck, why on earth did I say that

Thanks for the tips guys... Alun, yes the disks had some warp, and they were refaced, as where the wheel faces, and all was fine.. I wouldn't say I'm heavy on the brakes, in fact quite the opposite, certainly on the road anyway.... Not home until 20th August, then daughters wedding on the 23rd, then house move immediately after, so frustratingly the investigation will have to wait. Must be sorted by the 22nd September though, me and beastie have promised ourselves we're going to whoop QBee and Phazed's combined arses round Snetterton
