Just been to the petrol station ,the car fired up spot on until i left the petrol station .Its hunting the fuel pressure gauge on the regulator is going up and down and its running very rich ,10 to 11 afr .confused

My tacho and and mileometer has not been working for a while, since pressing it a number of times i have a very loud clicking noise from under the dash top.

What now ?

A sensor or wiring issue here (even if the plug pops out) could cause this issue.

The fuel pressure will surge up and down as the engine tries to cope with the over-fuelling, as the fuel pressure is related to the manifold pressure inside the plenum. As the engine goes to stall, the vacuum will drop in the plenum which will raise the absolute fuel pressure.

Thanks for your help ,I promised my self never to connect a lap top to my ECU ,it spells disaster .

It just feel like a loose wire ,like its not telling the ECU what to do . Its still running at 10afr.
