I thought TVR ownership was all going too well! I was driving along this afternoon and there was a ping/snap sound and the clutch pedal went solid. I was between gears and no further gear could be selected.

Arse!

Couldn't engage a gear so recovery was called. They sent the wrong type of truck so it took 2 and a half hours to be rescued. Due to this delay I was never going to make it to my chosen garage Christopher Neil in Northwich before they shut so I had it dumped at my work (Ford garage) in Stockport.

Now I don't know if it could be a cable or something else but I am growing in doubt that my techs at work will be able to sort it. Does anybody have any recommendations for garages that may be ideal for this job? I may well have to get it recovered again so some distance isn't the end of the world.

Thanks in advance,

Simon.

My garage is fine but I'm operating on its a specialist car angle. If it were just a cable then any tech could do it but as I've read there are other things it could be, potentially box out work, I'd rather it go to someone that could do it blind folded.

I also own a lotus and that goes to a specialist too.

Either way I'm going to get my lads to get it up in the air and see what is what then take it from there.

Pedal won't push down at all.

I've had a weekend away but will be sorting it this week.
