So sitting the pub last night chatting to a new mate I made afew weeks ago who works on one of the American airforce bases he tells me he can get anything from America shipped free. So it got me thinking if the rv8 was originally a Buick lump are there any performance heads from across the pond that would fit my 450 chim? Everything seems to be cheaper in America.

The Ls lump may blow the budget and my wife's top lol, she is a reasonable lady but as I have just bright a new chim I think I'd better leave it a while.

Just thought if it's American engine do they have cylinder heads that do fit. I can't find any 500 heads or the next idea is to get the 450 worked over.

What about this? http://m.ebay.com/itm/350471530357?cmd=VIDESC&... Instead of cam and heads? What else would I need to do? I'm not entirely sure how you get the presure from the turbos into the fuel system.

Called wannabes today about his tyro kits and all in is £4200 plus fitting which is more than I wanted to spend at this time ( twins on the way) so I think I'm just going to do the heads and cam for now. Maybe Megasqirt later or just get jooz to map it and leave it there.

I understand what you are saying and you apparent the first to say it, but I can split the cost of the cam, heads etc etc but also the other upside is it is refreshing older parts so I won't have a turbo 450 that needs a new cam or head work etc etc.
