I seem to be feeling a lot more vibration from the road than normal, like you've got a flat tyre. The number of times I have got out to check for punctures is getting silly now.

Have checked tyre pressures and springs for damage, all seem OK.

However, tyres are in need of replacing very soon. Can low tyre tread remaining cause vibration like this or is it likely to be something else like shocks ?

Cheers.

At what speeds do you experience the vibration? For example, does it manifest itself from 50mph?
It is most noticeable at low speeds. Feels like you can feel every bit of the, like you would with a flat tyre. No unusual noises.

Car has just passed MOT so inner tyre sidewalls should be good but I will check, good idea. Similarly leaking shocks would have been picked up in MOT I would have thought.

Prop UJs were replaced or maintained around a year ago during a body-lift chassis job.

Think I will just replace the tyres, balancing etc and see what it's like then.

I have just had 4-wheel alignment done following a steering rack overhaul. Can incorrect camber or toe cause this ?
