Have done a search in the forums and can not find an answer as yet. Does anyone know if there are differences between a "normal" Chimaera and a Chimaera "Clubman"?

Have done my dashboard replace and the gold letters for Chimaera Clubman on the old dashboard made me curious as to if this was any type of a departure from the standard cars, or if as in one thread seems to speculate it was just branding for the Japan cars. Anyone have any details?

Didn't they use the 1275 engine ?? biggrin
Maybe 4 of then stitched together biggrin

Mine was only badged this on the dashboard in gold lettering, Have seen others advertised where they have a decal along the sides of the cars too. No idea if all Japan cars were done like this or only a few. Just curious to find out a little more on the history of the car, especially now I've effectively removed the only markings of it on my car - original dash now stored and not scraped.

Wouldn't you know it, there are 4 Chimaera's on my favourite Japan car site for sale this morning. 2 x 400, a 450 and a 500, all marked as Clubmans.

I always thought FR stood for front engine, rear wheel drive on there.

Go up a level from that page and the prices are very encouraging - ok highly optimistic. Over 9 million yen for a 500....
