Hid conversion

Hi, has anyone done the hid conversion on their headlights if so how easy was it and how pleased are you with the result

If they are illegal why are central TVR doing the conversion, ?

I will have to take a look then as mine us the older style grill, the lights are fine at the moment if doing 30mph but definatly need upgrading, LEDs are well expensive so will forget them

They look great, what make are those as there are so many on the market now

Below are the LED sidelights I ordered which match the colour perfectly. These were the fitment for the mk1 golf bulb holders with the mk3 lights however I think the standard early headlights are a different fitment.

IJust asked an MOT inspector on my delivery round and he says HID bulbs are legal but you must have headlight washers. Wtf , why???

Passed MOT yesterday and when I asked about HIDs he said if I had had them fitted he would of had to fail it, suppose that answers my original question
