Well I got her up on the ramp tonight to find this

And this is only the visible part frown

So tonight's question is this, who do you recommended to carry out outrigger replacement or possibly a full chassis refurbishment ?

Please keep in mind that I live in Edinburgh so the closer the better but quality of work and value for money will also count to my final decision.

That's a very impressive rebuild. If you don't mind me asking what was your total bill at the end of it ?
Ideally this is what I'd like to do to mine but obviously it's down to budget.

I'm sure it'll scare the hell out of me also but if I get the chassis fully refurbished and a few other issues dealt with my car will feel brand new and will last for many years to come.

yikes not quite sure the budget stretches that far. I really wish it did but it might have to be spread out and done over time.
Hmmm, possibly back to just chassis now and do the rest myself in time.

Thanks Trevor smile I'll give the guys a phone tomorrow anyway and see what they say.

Thanks again Trevor smile
If I get a quiet 5 minutes at work today I'll be giving them a call.

Thanks everyone smile
A lot of research and phoning to do but I've now got a plan to go forward with.
Body off outriggers done and if required full chassis restoration.
Gearbox, diff and shafts out and re-seal/rebuild them. A little leaky when I was underneath.
New discs and pads for all round.
Upgrade the suspension too.
Already got a price for roof and interior restoration.
I'm sure this list will grow in time but this is a start.

Not going to be cheap project but if I get it done right it'll be a car to enjoy for many years to come.

Is there or could there be a "price list and where to get them from" list for the most common modifications and upgrades ?
