Ive been holding out now for a few months trying to find a face lift chimaera with power steering 4.5 if i could find one but they seem to be thin on the ground.

Now ive found a nice early 4.0 but has no power steering although it looks a real nice car.
Im not in any rush to buy one but have been looking since August and starting to get a little impatient.

What would you do?

I have already tried both the first was non and i was surprised how light i found it.
I then tried on with power witch was like any other car with power steering.
My problem is even through i found it quite easy to steer will i be sorry after owning it for a while.

My old chim didn't have PS then I fitted a PS rack and kit, what a difference.

I would NEVER buy one without, especially with more modern grippier rubber.
How much did it cost you in parts to fit it?

It's TVRs own rack, that's why it doesn't last long!

The Scooby rack is an alternative pioneered by SteveSPG.

If you search, you'll come up with some info.
Is it all a straight bolt on kit?
