For a while now I've been thinking about the exhaust manifolds and looking at options. I don't like the look of the current set up and can't help thinking that power is being lost due to the fact that all the pipes aren't the same length. I posted a while ago thinking about the ACT manifolds, performance cats etc.

As a result of this I'm going to get a set made up by a friend. The idea is to use some old manifolds as a template to start with.

Before we do too much, is this a waste of time, is there anything to be gained? I"d welcome the thoughts of anyone who has already tried this.

Cheers

Liam

I keep looking at the ACT tuned manifolds, just can"t help thinking that they"ve missed a trick by not using same length pipes. Probably the price that influenced the choice.

Do the equal length pipes make much of a difference over the ACT tuned manifolds?
