I visited the RTR shop last year. I've spent 20 years in Power Engineering working for these guys (www.alstom.com) and spent a lot of time looking at welds in all sorts of fancy materials (stuff that operates for 20 years at 550C).
The welding I saw at RTR was very good.
We'll see how good the rest of it is soon.

Realistically, a very nice 400 will make, say 9k for a private sale.
Add the cost of the SC and a few bits and pieces which we know you won't get your money back for, I reckon this is worth about £12-13K.
