My car looks a bit tired ,the interior is poor ,the chassis is good but just looks a bit rough with my hand painting . I`m not happy with the paint ,it only looks good in the sun and it`s full of stone chips .

If i went for a body of chassis restoration ,respray and new interior whats the whole lot going to cost me ?

Effectively i would have a new car . That`s what i want !

If you can get one place to do it all then that's going to save a few £££'s but it's still going to be eye watering, I'd guess at body off stuff, by the time you add a few mechanicals that it's daft not to do while it's in bits, hoses, bushes etc, that's £4k, interior easy £2k, paint another £2k at least, so £6kish sounds a fair shout, but then it turns into a 'forever car' as you'll never see the money again, and the spending doesn't stop, it always needs servicing and 'stuff' still wears out/breaks.
That seems cheap ,i thought a new interior cost 4 to 5 k alone .

I guess it depends on the level of finish, never priced up an interior, I've spent the last few years looking for viable new seats, gave up and decided to go for a whole better class of interior wrapped up in a different body. wink
You will be back to the TVR world just like Quinny . That car will put then years on you ..

Daz, pull your finger out!

I did my 4.6.

Polybush all round
Shot blast and paint wishbones
Tidy chassis
Renew carpets
Cheap Respray, (non metallic)

All for about £1,500.00

Job done.
Mine is all poly bushed including diff and engine .
My has a a bit of fiberglass damage in the door and bonnet .I just see other much cleaner cars .

Daz, you wouldn't look right in a perfect car mate.. Your car should reflect your personality after all, and having seen it (it's probably worse now) I think it's doing its job nicely wink
That was not very nice !
