I much prefer the levern one over the standard round version, just feels better in the hand

Had to substitute version for knob as it just looked wrong typed
Personal taste me thinks Rigga, I reckon. I'm just used to a round knob in my hand, hahahah

Chimp of many a good word,,, I sat in a Chim at the motorshow in the mid nineties and that round knob was something g special.
I have to agree, whilst my square one looks classy, it just doesn't feel right.
I personally think the round one looks better,,
I'm actually looking forward to matching my car up with a pucker Tvr knob,
I can't put into words the strange feeling I have about it other than I think both me and the car will be more complete
Funny how something so seemingly insignificant can have such an effect on ones feelings,,,
The gear knobs coming home,,, Podie looked after it and now so will I
It's the little things,,

Memories,, I think it was 1995 for me, there I am walking around and thinking it's all the bloody same stuff and why isn't there more classic design, then we came across the Tvr stand,,
I'm thinking these are rubbish arnt they,, I never liked the 70's models,

The memory is faded but somehow I remember sitting in a Chimaera and thinking, at last I'm in a car that has some style, the dash, the clocks and a round gear knob and somehow I knew this was the car for me.

I'm sure the Cerb was there and everyone was signing checks to buy one,
My mate did, it was the same in about 99/2000 ?but this time it was a Tuscan he and everyone else seemed to be sighning up for,,
On both occasions you could feel the buzz in the air as all these guys are wide eyed and waiting in que's to sign up to the Tvr dream,,
They seemed to be the only manufacturer with the balls to actually build something we want,,,
And the only one that seemed to be taking orders in front of me,

If I sit in a car and genuinely feel a bit scared of it,, it's got me hook line and sinker
The Tvr had the best steering wheel etc it all just added upto a wonderful product

I don' t think I realised at the time but it must have been that day in 95 maybe 96 that my faith in motor manufacture came back a little,
It' only took me another 17 years to actually get one.
I now think why did I take so long,,
Worried about reliability maybe.
I see 07/08 plate cars just as knackered and unreliable
Long live Tvr

Love it.
Simple, classic, beautiful.

Perfect!
Couldn't put it better myself, yes Podie excellent service, it's almost like new,, well until I dropped it and it rolled down the road,,, haha joking !

It's actually more than shiny enough, perfection. Oh my little Chim is really coming on, I'm normally totally impatient but I find if I do a little bit at a time it's almost more rewarding,,
You can savour each add on or repair or upgrade as you do them, it's not my choice, it's all down to monies but somehow it seems to mean much more to me,, maybe coming down to earth with a bang has given me better perspective,
Anyway it's just a knob, I'm well happy Podie, thanks.
