Rotten egg smell

Hi all,

I have a standard 4.0 Chim 1993, it runs fine , problem is when it's been in the garage for a day or two there is a really strong egg smell, it does not smell when running so does that rule out the cats?

Going to check the battery as I have been told this can also cause this.
Any ideas or has any one had a similar problem.
