The brake master cylinder has given up so its time to replace it, and since its leaking through the servo thats will need to come out as well.

Now having done a bit of reading you all say its a pig of a job, fine if you're a Chinese gynaecologist with no thumbs but not for us.

Now I'm very tempted to turn this inspection plate into a useful size. If I cut from the plate towards the wing then down to the rubber grommets then back to the plate. this should give me a dirty great big hole to work through.
But would I just be looking at the wrong side of the servo and master, would it actually help or would I still need to take it out through the footwell?

Would it be sacrilege?

What st sick sadistic 6 elbowed double jointed rubber boned bd freak that put it there in the first place!

After about 9 hours its out, and I didnt cut the wing out. But boy I wish I did!

What a awful job, I removed the bonnet release cable and the accelerator cable! And the bracket that holds the accelerator cable and mechanism on the plenum.

Seriously who's idea was that? I need to put a face to who fitted this, did TVR keep you folded in a suitcase in the attic and bring you out just to fit servos?
