Trackday Tyres

I have a spare set of wheels for my Chim 15" front 16" rear which I want to clad with a new set of track tyres . I want to be able to drive on the public road to the track & back again ,then return to my original wheels.Any ideas on decent track tyres in the above sizes to give good wear/grip on track + road legal ?

Hi Anthony, 15s front 205/50/15. 16s rear 225/45/16. I didn't want to get into the realms of bigger wheels,spacers ,longer nuts /studs etc etc. See you there

That extra rubber just adds more weight Are you going to test them out on the 29th Matt ?

Hi Trevor,Yes it will be good to see the difference . My tyres were letting me down last time .I was on Bridgestone rears and Eurotyre fronts. They were all part worn and came with the wheels I bought ,and as they were not track tyres they weren't up to much. Will be good to see you ,lets hope for a nice dry day.
