One should be landing this week but what's the length of belt serpentine no a/c but power steering

Remove old belt
Undo cables to rear of alternator
Remove bolts holding alternator to tensioner and then alternator
Remove tensioner pulley
Fit JE alternator bracket with supplied screw-bolts
Refit alternator
Reconnect cables
Fit banana to bolt on water pump
Fit nut and bolt through alternator and banana bracket
Fit 1585/ 1590 belt
Tension and tighten bolt and nut to banana bracket.
Don't forget to disconnect the battery first

No need really, the MM/Serp alternator should be fitted with a cover over the terminal plate at the rear so no chance of grounding anything out IIRC
Yes it has a cover but only clips on and falls off very easily
