HELP! Clutch required
Discussion
Does anybody have a proper AP racing clutch, the proper 500lb/ft one that the Tuscan V8 race series cars had fitted. AP are quoting 6 weeks, and my car is currently being turboed by Eann, or any other bright ideas, I have looked at McLeod 10.5 but there are no flywheels in the UK at the mo.
Getting desperate.

Hi robin, another vote for Real Steel here, I had my steel flywheel and twin plate clutch delivered in two days.
Hi MacI took the plunge and am really looking forward to the shove, but murphy's law has struck early!
I spoke to real steel but they have no flywheels at the moment, they never mentioned a twin plate clutch though, is that a McLeod twin plate?, Does it need a release bearing Mods, it seems from a sweep on here people have all sorts of set up issues with the slave and release bearing needing machining.

You sure a McLeod 10.5 will go in the housing?
Got a new 500 flywheel that might be spare if any use
I have no idea, but apparently so. My days of personal spannering are over, I now subscribe to cheque book engineering. Thanks for the offer, but looking plug and play really, and a 500 is no different to 400 I believe, which will need machining to get it to fit, same as mine.Got a new 500 flywheel that might be spare if any use

I fitted one of ap's clutches to nicks sc chim running around 375ftlbs torque we cooked it in one season now fittied a triple plate sperclutch with a ttv racing flywheel but should you want the old ap one the pressure plate is fine just needs a new disc.
John
Thanks John, AP don't have any discsJohn
How is this triple plate clutch on the road, and were any other mods required to fit it? I would prefer not to have a clutch that is either on or off. Did TTV supply all of it or did you source from both companies and was it of the shelf?
