Wishbone refurb

A bit of advise please.
I have just got my front wishbones back from the blasters All are good with the exception of the one shown below which now has a small hole. It's only on one side of the brace and all appears sound around. Is this something that could be or more importantly safe to fill up with weld?

That certainly gives me another option should the brace prove to be worse than it looks and still save the old wishbone.
