I was having a chat earlier with Joolz of kits and Classics fame and we have decided on this date at Snetts.

Plenty of notice and only £159.00

I'm sure if we get 6+ they'll sort a free garage.

For all you wannabes who have never dipped your toes in the holy grail that is a track day, this is the safest opportunity.

Snetterton is a great track, really safe and plenty of wide open spaces to stretch your legs so,…….. come on and give it a try.

There will at least me to give advice and point people in the right direction.

If the weather is really good, Joolz is going to bring a Tuscan racer, (or did he say Tuscan?) we'll know soon enough.

You guys can also chat to him about mapping and other stuff that is is most proficient on!

Phazed,

I am looking for a set of track day silencers that would allow me to pass the noise test…

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers, Frenchie
I have a spare set of ACT ones that I usually bring with me but they haven't been used for a couple of years.

If we get together soon, try them. You can borrow/buy if you want.

I will phone up tomorrow and ensure we get the free garage and book another one as well.

I still have to decide on some tyres. Better pull my finger out.

The last time I went out in the wet was at Combe.

That's when this happened and I was it really pussyfooting around.

I am sure Snetterton isn't as slippery as Combe but even so I am loath to go out in the wet.

We shall see nearer the time, weather is a changeable thing.

Drove down did loads of laps and drove back again. Down to less than 1 mm now.
I've checked Parcelforce's website with my tracking number and my tyres have gone to Ipswich, good job!!

Apart from that, the weather was fantastic and the six of us all had a great time.

Well, the 5.5 didn't miss a beat although some people were gased in clouds of in burnt fuel while shooting out flames from the rear.

A really great day to be repeated in the not too distant future.

Prize for most improved goes to Stuart in his S.

His car shod with the Chinese NanKang tyres performed brilliantly considering its age and lack of cc compare to other cars.

Well done that man.

I should have taking a picture of V8 Nuts car. As this has had a huge amount of modifications, lights, splitter, diffuser and other stuff.

I took a couple of videos with my GoPro and if I can work out how to load these that I will. My usual film editor is resting in Bali at the moment, lazy bugger. Hello

Fantastic day! track dried up really quickly in the morning and we got oodles of track time.

Peter, have you uploaded that footage you recorded of following me on the last session?
Not yet, I'll try tomorrow but I may be GoPro challenged!
