Clutch slipping

Hi,

The clutch on my 98 chimaera 450 slips a bit (enough to get a bit of a clutch smell) when really going for it in third gear, i mean when your foot down at 5000 rpm,

So, is it knackered or can they be adjusted?

How much is a good price for. New clutch fitted?
