Hi All,

currently removing exhaust and have removed clamp, bolt to block, six bolts to tray and removed anti roll bar from chassis plates so all set to go. Stumped on the final hurdle in that the exhaust is well and truly lodged in the Y piece sleeve. I've given a gentle tap and sprayed some WD 40 around it but before I go mad with the lump hammer any advice on where to whack ? exhaust plate ? or smack end of external sleeve with a screwdriver to drive it off ?

Any previous experiences or practices gratefully received. I don't want smack the cr*p out of it and damage anything.

Cheers all

Jeremy

cheers all, thanks for the advice. Exhaust is now off. It most certainly is a case of kneeling behind the car and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle , wiggle !! wink

For future ref to people researching topic, next time I will try and remove the rear anti roll bar completely as even when dropped, the exhaust bottom plate can still catch and it needs jacking to initially get over this.

Thanks Again
