Insurance Costs

Just about to put my Chim back on the road after its loooong sleep so its a few years since I insured it for the road.


Its a 4 ltr with big brakes, 17" wheels and a rollcenter roll cage.

1996 just had a full body of restoration so value say 15k

driver is 47 in midlands wife to drive as well 46
both have other cars

5k miles inc 1.5k business miles ( so I can the the chim if the weathers nice)

Classic line have come back with 295 inc glass and breakdown cover 250 excess ( 75 on windscreen)


That looks reasonable Is that about what others are paying or should I be looking at other places

Cool, sounds like that will do then. I put mine down as on the drive even though its normally in the garage so i can leave it out if necc.

I originally said 6 as i thought that was the band and she came back saying would 5k be ok so i assume its something like 3,5,10 etc

looks like im in the ball park. anyone had a claim with classic line hod did it go?
