Help needed.

Further to my previous message "another day another cam" regarding a loud tapping noise, on removing the near side rocker I found that a tappet pad had a piece chipped off.
Today I removed the inlet manifold. The first thing was that all the bolts except for the rear oil seal plate were hand tight. The rear bolt unfortunately snapped off.
Then I saw that one of the 3rd cylinder push rods was bent, and as the photo shows had rubbed against something.
Any ideas please!
