Anyone found a good installation for a good DAB signal yet on the Chimaera or Griff?

Have a look at the dab+ compatible units, supposed to be more reliable signal wise.
I'd read that DAB+ is just a completely separate signal. Some channels are only on DAB+ but it hasn't been rolled out that much in the UK.

What does sound worth having is DAB/FM switching, which switches between the two automatically if the DAB signal is lost, thereby maintaining reception.

Also read that the DAB signal is only equivalent to about 48kbps. Some radios can use clever technoogy to artificially increase this to give a better sound.

I was thinking about running an aerial through to the boot and running it around the boot aperture. Has the additional advantage of being away from the engine and any ignition noise.
