How many miles a year are you doing?

Went in to the garage to fire beastie up an hour or so ago (first time in about four weeks) and the battery was a trifle low so I stuck the charger on for an hour... (she burst savagely into life afterwards)... Whilst sitting in the suicide seat I looked at the mileage, and it came as a bit of a shock how few miles I've done in recent months... in fact in over a year

She had 31.5k on the clock when we got married in December 2010... fast forward to May 2015 (MOT time) and I'd only put 3,200 miles on her in the previous year, after averaging pretty much 5k a year in the previous 3 years..

Then, May 2015 to May 2016 I notched up a staggering 1,847 miles

We're now at 52,332 miles, that's 20,842 miles in six years, an average of 3,474 p.a.....

As if that wasn't bad enough, from May 2016 to now (20 minutes ago in fact), near enough eight full months, I'm gobsmacked to find we've driven a total of...... 837 miles

Anyone else found their average mileage has dropped over the last two or three years?

Hoping to add a few miles on tomorrow, Suffolk and Norfolk TVRCC lot are doing a fish and chip run, mate round the corner has a Griff so now I've rejoined (last year) I might tag along Better make sure beastie looks her best and I dress properly (no hoodies and jeans)... you know what these car club lot are like

So, did the Aldeburgh fish and chip run yesterday with the car club mob, weather was crap, roads were slippery, and back end stepped out a few times (must get some new rears), but managed 133 miles of smiles regardless...

And beastie had a huge grin when I put her to bed... (although that might be my over active imagination)
