I've done a search on PH but the results turn up nothing recent (found 2009 and 2011 threads for antifreeze).

I'm about to start filling my Chim with it's required liquids. I was going to do a thread just for the antifreeze, but might as well ask about brake/clutch fluid too.

Antifreeze - what is the latest consensus on this? Will the regular Comma concentrate stuff from local motor factors be ample? Or is there something new and improve out there that I'm unaware of? Should there be special consideration given to finding one that is ally friendly? I don't know if it makes a difference, but the engine has been rebuilt, with new water pump and rad is recored.

Brake/clutch fluid - is dot 4.1 the preference for our Chims brake and clutch? My car is OE. No intention of upgrading the brakes in the immediate future as I won't be 'tracking' it regularly. More a burble around cruiser with the occasional blat.

Thanks in advance
Cad

Thanks chaps. Dot 4.1, and I think I'll go for the G48 biggrin

Just to confirm - you DO use the same fluid for clutch AND brake?
