Those look like the shouldered driveshafts without the circlip. If so, they are what are fitted to the later cars and are pretty strong as standard.
Gonna do any drag racing Richard?
Interesting. Gonna do any drag racing Richard?
Does this mean my 2000 year car possibly has these drive shafts as standard or are we talking the later T cars etc.
Seasons drwing closer, the air of excitement and anticipation still gives me a knot in my stomach and I don't even race

Hi Jes, not intending to this year as my power is the same as last year and I've only added about 7 kg with bigger wheels & tyres. I'm busy all day on the 18th in any case but I'll look forward to seeing you at our first round, mine's at Rockingham, where's yours?
Can't make rockingham and have no others booked yet. I am struggling with time this year.ClassicChimaera said:

Mines a 2000 car and had the inner circlip grooved shafts as standard (not now though). I'm surprised to learn that some cars may be different as I've seen even later cars with the same shafts
Hmmm. With my 300 hp and 360 ft lb torque I'm not likely to snap em I suppose. Thanks Mac I should be replacing my Dif soon enough, if we have time I'll try to determine what mine are.
