I'm in the process of setting up the geometry, I have a 6 or 7mm spacer in front of the top ball joint, which stops the new ball joint from moving freely across the whole movement for camber setting. I can only move it back to get 0 to 1/2 deg neg.
I'm guessing the ball joints are different from original even though they were bought from a specialist.
Can I get away with a deferent spacer combination? And if so what degrees of camber will it give me?

Can you post a picture of the original compared to the version you have?
I may be able to machine it to you requirements?
The old ones went in the bin along time ago.

Anyone ground away part of the ball casting? How much metal is there and will it weaken the joint?
It's looking like I'm going to need a couple of spacer either side but I'm hoping to keep a wider one up front.
Anyone with two equal spacer on a non powers tearing car notice any difference in steering self centring ?

Why not buy the correct genuine parts? Next day delivery, sorted.
