Looking for opinions on this car for sale

Just wondered what your opinions were as to the value of this chimera

Yes I realise you could say the value is what it's sold for, but that's just eBay so who knows whether it's actually gone. It's hard to find similar cars for sale of course so I thought I'd ask on here as some of you may have seen similar cars sold previously.

I had a 5.0 chimera previously (wish I'd not sold it now) and I am looking for another, this is appealing because of the engine but I can't yet decided whether it's worth the premium that's being asked.

Perhaps an impossible question I understand that but thought it worth asking just encase someone has some experience

Yeh I noticed it at £28k too, it's also been at £38k in the past on car and classic web site

Yes I know what you mean. Your right a 500 is quick but they're not that quick, they go off the line really well but I always wanted more after that in the 500 I had.

Hadn't thought of a monaro at all tbh - doubt they are as raw as a tvr

For me the chimera 500 I had was superb, whenever I took it out I never wanted to go home!

Yep chassis is an issue, the one I had came straight from RT racing in Sheffield after a body of chassis restore

Just looked at Monaro's - TVR they ain't lol - personally, not for me at all
