Hi folks,

I have just replaced the cam in my 93 Chim 400 (just the one swirl tank by the engine) and after all back together I filled the tank as per Steve Heaths instruction in the bible and slackened off the bleed screw on top of the radiator until fluid came through and tightened it back up. Fired her up and ran the cam in at 3000rpm for 30 mins with the pressure cap off bubbling and gurgling away topping up as required during the process. Heater is warm, radiator hoses are warm, thermostat opens and fluid starts to come through the swan neck into the tank, overflowed and very bubbly in the tank. left it overnight to allow any air to tome to the top and then checked it again the next evening. fluid had gone down to half way in the tank, topped it up to a couple of inches below the top as per the bible again but ran it up to temp again tonight and it was coming out of the top of the tank at quite a rate of knots. squeezed the hoses and no gurgling or air bubbles but just doesn't seem right.
Has anyone got any tips on how they bled theirs or any advice at all?

Burghley House beckons and I want to get it sorted rather than turn up on an RAC truck LOL!

Also, replaced some of the hose clips with stainless steel ones and they leak like crazy, anyone with any experience of this?

Jase.
