Open to all TVR owners and enthusiasts of TVR. This will be the first national gathering of the Chimaera

The event is being held at Sandon Hall which is situated in the heart of Staffordshire and is surrounded by 400 acres of parkland, the beautiful neo-Jacobean house is worth a visit and the acres of glorious parkland are there for the fit and agile to enjoy. Home to many car shows, Sandon Hall is very well equipped for our needs providing ample green space, first-class facilities and a good variety of food for those not packing picnic lunches.

Several traders are signed up and have offered to support the event by judging our cars and by presenting prizes.

Details:

Located some 5 miles from Stafford, Sandon Hall is on the A51 which runs from Stone to Rugeley. From Junction 14 of the M6, follow the Staford Ring Road (signs RAF) and after 2 miles, turn left onto the B5066, signposted Sandon. This leads to a major T-junction with the A51 just 50 metres from the entrance gates. The private drive is nearly a mile long.

Gates open at 10am.

We hope you will come along to this first national gathering of the TVR Chimaera and make it a success worthy of this magnificent car. There are plenty of things to keep you and your family occupied in the grounds and house though we expect most of you will be taking this opportunity to meet fellow owners and share stories of your exploits at the wheel

On the site, yes unfortunately, more a lawn than a grass field. Perhaps there will be opportunity for some fun on the nearby roads

Is there any need to 'book' for the road run Bob?

Paul
No need to book, just join the convoy as it leaves Sandon Hall

I say chaps,

I'm hoping to attend to discuss the finer points of buying & running one of these fine beasts; If I turn up in my dodgy Audi am I likely to be shunned or just ridiculed? Ridicule I can handle.

I'm currently looking for a Chimaera 400 (as I have no experience of powerful rwd motors) and am keen to get advice.

Cheers,
Don't take any notice of FFG, Paul loves to wind up Chimaera owners but we all know which is the better car.

You're more than welcome, the parking is segregated so you'll end up in a separate area but it's quite near the main event.
