Chimaera Electric Window Failure
Discussion
After privately buying a fully working TVR Chimaera 4.0 1997, on the journey home the drivers side window failed, of course this is now in the open postion rather than closed!
I've checked the switchgear which appear okay (swapped window switches between the working passenger side window and the failed drivers side - no success). I get the impression that these windows are jointly fused, therefore not a blown fuse either.
Has anybody got any ideas of what this fault could be and how much my wallet is going to be damaged?
Is it just a case of resigning myself to a new electric window motor?
