Why is the market so slow for used chims?

its sunny, its hot....whats the problem!

there seem to be loads on PH (mine included!)

i thought that the market would be very good around this time of year? but it seems there are far more sellers than buyers.

mines a 97 450, recent service, mot and tax and 24 mths of warraty left.

seems daft to go to a dealer and pay 1.5-2.5k extra!

lol- yes, but mine is a 450, has only 25k on the clock, brand new seals all round, respraid bonnet so is chipless, refurbed hood and 24 months warranty.

my reasons for sale are in the email.....if it werent for that i would keep it- i have had 200sx, subaru, R1, etc and the TVR is the coolest, fastest thing i have ever had!

its a perfect use of an inheritanec!

ok, i take it all back.....a bit of sun and they all come out!

3 viewings today and 1 sunday although the guys that have just left were test pilots! turned up in an OLD M3 and started the conversation with "so can me and my mate take it for a spin if we leave you the keys to the bemmer" errrr, no lads, you cant

ps- now showing as sold on classifieds..but DONT PANIC, will only go to the otherguy if you decide its not for you!

pps- what is it with some people.....i have a bloke coming to look at my car tommorow. on the phone (never seen the car other than 2 pics) he says..."will you drop the price" i said the price was flexible to a point, etc, etc to which he says "well you need to drop it a fair bit to get me interested"

lol- now im as happy as larry to strike a deal but how about doing it once you have seen the car!

and when i asked if he'd seen the car on pistonheads he said "no, the autotrader, and why have you got the car on the internet- no one looks at that computer rubbish".....i await his visit with interest!

thanks, it is a goodun....trouble is everyone seems to advertise theirs as such...yet there are some old dogs out there!

getting ppl to come and look was the problem..i was always cofident that those that came would want to buy

nothing like crusing out to a pub on a summers evening to make you forget their are screaming kids at home

TVR's should be issued to all couples wanting a divorce.....they would save some marriges

(equally anyone getting a divorce with a TVR should have it taken away as it could be the car thats causing it!)
