Central locking

The central locking on my 94 car has stopped working. Solenoids not operating and hazzards not flashing when key is turned in door lock. Also the knob on the centre console is not working either. I have checked the 15A fuse which is ok and the indicators do flash. I have checked the rubber pieces on the doors that operate the interior light and they are ok, but they do not put the light out when the doors are closed? I am suspecting the relay which I believe is under the dash. Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks AL, the thread has been of some help. I am not getting any voltage at the door solenoids and the fuse shown in the bible feeding the CDL is only live when the ignition is switched on. I would have thought that the fuse should be live all the time. Does anyone know for definite which fuse supplies the CDL.
Got the dash off, only one bolt at N/S not two. Black plastic box has a TVR manufactured PCB with the relays protected by a 20*5 mm glass fuse. This looked intact, but on testing was duff, probably fatigue as the box was not velcroed down and could have been sliding about. Changed fuse and all working OK. Maplins have fuses, 0.79p each. Also changed faulty bulb in Tachometer whilst dash off.
