Any Interest in Plenum Badges?

I am trying to gauge if there is a market for plenum badges as below.
They will be the right size to fit in the plenum recess if you have one.





Mods this is not an advertisement as I have nothing to sell - I am just attempting to see if this would be viable.
If it is they will be sold via the classifieds.

These are in the identical style to the Rocker cover badges you may have seen previously for sale (more of these will be available soon).

Initially I think it will only be viable in 400 & 500, I will consider others but they would have to be priced higher if they are in low numbers.

As above any that are only in small numbers may not be viable.
I'll reconsider if there is enough interest and a price increase is acceptable due to low volume.

They have already been successfuly tested as rocker cover badges. I wouldn't have thought the plenum is any hotter.
They can take a lot more heat than you think - provided the surface is perfectly clean so the adhesive sticks properly.

I am hoping to be at Chatsworth on Sunday - probably from about lunchtime onwards.

I will have the plenum badges in 400 and 500 and rocker cover badges all being well, so try and track me down.
I'm 6 foot 3 with specs and will be carrying a folder or box with the labels in, shamelessly trying to sell them.

Anything in small numbers would be expensive - there is the setup cost and minimum order quantity to account for.
You'd be looking at £20+ per badge which I don't think would be well received unless you think otherwise.

Badges arrived this morning.
Here's a taster on a scruffy old plenum I have in the garage.
The hawk eyed ones among you may notice that the badge is a bit high - this plenum has the cast '3.9' under the badge location but you get the idea.

450 and 460 to follow if there's enough demand.

TVR badges are £12 per pair, and the plenum badges are £7 each, so £19 gets you a full set.
The price includes UK delivery.

I only have plenum badges in 400 and 500, there has been some interest in others but to be honest the setup costs don't make small numbers viable, I am still very much out of pocket with the 400 & 500 ones.

There might be some potential in a supercharged or V8 supercharged (so slightly generic) but the minimum order quantity is in 3 figures, how many SC engines are there out there? And more importantly how many want a plenum badge?

I didn't mean you would have to buy 100 - I would but there has to be enough market to make ordering a batch viable.
430 is pretty unlikely to ever be viable - something more generic may be possible - even just a simple 'V8' maybe?

The resin can soften slightly when the engine is hot - you would only have an issue if something was resting on it which could cause an indentation.
The adhesive is also high temperature rated.

Mark make what you like plenum badges were never viable for me I barely covered costs (not sure I actually did man maths at work).

I can potentially get another batch of resin rocker badges done if there is interest.
Market died off when I last had them in classifieds but I did sell a lot!

I have no objection to your post those plenum badges look great.
I now do not have any TVR badges PH JonnyZ may be getting a batch done I have passed him the info
I do have 400 & 500 plenum badges still £7 each inc UK postage.
The only thing I'll say is I am not always able to post out next day.
