1974 rubber bumper MGB roadster

I am looking for some advice! I have just seen a roadster in a garage in Germany which fits the exact description of the car i first drove over 30 years ago..Being a bit nostaalgic here..its a rubber bumper version ,colour exactly what imTest driving it next week.The garage will give it a looking for. Paint work looks a bit tatty but generally no deep seated rust.The garage will give it a TÜV(MOT) next week so im assuming the car is roadworthy:The price is aboutfour thousand pounds.

The question is are there any serious things ive got to look out for..It seems like a fair price...but there aagain i dont have any experience in buying old cars!

Thank you both for the advice!..Ill scrutinize this vehicle even more for rust on Friday..that said i think the price is not too high because the paint work isnt too good..Ill just have to see what the test drive brings..should be some fun anyway!
