Hi All,

I'm just starting to get ready for a 3 hour race in December, in the SR1 and would appreciate advice on any areas to particularly focus on during the prep.

The car only has 12 hours or so on it, and will get fresh pads, discs, fluids etc as a matter of course.
Its got the 210bhp power upgrade, as well as a drysump and paddleshift fitted - so as far as I understand, moving some way towards an SR4 spec.

We had a few silly little niggles with the paddleshift early on, but that has subsequently been reliable so far and other than that, no issues, and my feeling is it should be pretty robust for the race distance.

Does anyone have any suggestions for things that its worth looking into to help reliability etc?

Cheers!

new chain?
Belated thanks Bert - yep already done....

Whats the consensus on using jubliee/worm gear clips on CV boots rather than the metal straps with the pinch sections?
The later seem to be extremely difficult to keep tensioned.

I've previously be warned about driveshaft imbalance using jubilee clips. Any differing opinion or suggestions?

Cheers.
