I'm in the throes of sourcing the parts to make up the two-piece ram air box for the flat-slide carbs on a my Clubsport. I have a source of supply for the mouldings themselves and it looks like I'll probably have to go to Radical for the support frame. The other bits I'm hoping to make myself or source from a bike breaker.
A couple of queries you might be able to help me with
1. Are the air box rubbers and associated clips standard bike bits? If so, what bike?
2. There are two M6 studs that attach the support frame to the cam cover bolts. Can I modify my existing cam cover bolts to accept the M6 studs?
3. Any idea what the air filter is from?
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Laurence

Thanks Rob - good info. Been on your website before but didn't spot the info on the airbox rubbers at the bottom of the list

Hi Craig
The airbox will be a Carbon-Kevlar hybrid and made by a guy that does a variety of mouldings and fabrication work for a variety of race cars. He’s done one for a Prosport, but not yet one for a Clubsport. I've just spoken to him and he's happy to make a second one (or a third or a fourth!).
I'm going to supply him with the support frame, which he'll mount on the Kawasaki engine of his car to make sure he gets the box mounted in the correct orientation - so as you can see, there's a bit of development work to be done before its a finished product. To help in this process, it would be very useful if you (or anyone else) could supply a sketch, or a dimensioned photograph, showing the positional dimensions of the four intake holes (distance in from side, distance up from bottom) to make sure we don't end up with the airbox out-of-position and rubbing the inside of the bodywork.
I'll email you with his contact details.
If there’s anybody else out there who might like one, let me know. If there’s enough interest, it might affect pricing.
Cheers
Laurence
