Jaguar XF - try hard
Discussion
Heard a rough diesel sound while out and about the other day and turned to see a Jag XF coming by.
Not only that but it had just the single tailpipe.
The driver rinsing everything he could out of it.
He'd obviously just managed to squeeze into the (white) XF and climb out of the Audi I'm sure he'd been previously driving...
For me it looked and sounded cheap and no longer premium.

Poor guy works hard to buy a jaguar after dreaming of owning one as a kid and treetops doesn't appreciate it and mocks him on the internet. I bet he is (not) having a little cry at home.
What do you drive treetops?
A SAAB (Aero petrol if that matters) I have no need for anything else, bricks and mortar is where its at for me but that's another story. What do you drive treetops?
My point was I felt this has cheapened what was supposed to be a premium model.
Can you imagine putting a 2.2 diesel engine with a single tailpipe in an XJ of old?
In recession white and being rinsed around basically summed it up for me as the "new AUDI" for exec man / woman.
I would simply shudder at the thought of new Jag XF in white!
